Triggered by the pains of students and parents in making right career decisions, the struggle of students in making a gainful and meaningful career, regular instances of suicides by students, the agony of employers in getting the best out of their employees and retaining a stable labour force, a group of HR and Behavioural Sciences professionals from the corporate and academic world decided to form Caresteer Consultants LLP in 2014 for helping students in making informed career decisions for choosing careers which they are likely to enjoy with passion.
Based on in-depth analysis of the above scenario and study of all available research data on career planning and career decision-making, Caresteer has come out with following conclusions:
- Our country has an acute shortage of highly skilled and capable people in almost all professions. In other words there is no shortage of employment opportunities for excellent people irrespective of their profession/career and excellence wrt knowledge, skills and competencies in chosen career is most important requirement for a meaningful and gainful career rather than type of career chosen by the individuals.
- Those who have clear career goals /aspirations, have clarity regarding career mile stones and are aware of the knowledge, skills and competencies needed at every career stage are likely to have a very successful career.
- The excellence of a person in terms of knowledge, skills and competencies for a chosen career originates from the passion and happiness of the person with the career. This in turn originate from alignment of his or her psychological structure's with the behavioural demands of the chosen career.

To put it simply, just the way we all have a unique physical structure which allows us to do some jobs very comfortably and does not allow us to do other jobs with the same ease, WE ALL HAVE A UNIQUE PSYCHOLOGICAL STRUCTURE WHICH ALLOWS US TO DO SOME JOBS WITH EASE AND COMFORT AND DOES NOT ALLOW US TO DO OTHER JOBS WITH THE SAME EASE AND COMFORT. This ease and comfort makes people happy and passionate with the job.

In view of above conclusions, our Caresteer team has:
- Designed a unique, tested and validated psychological tool for assessing the psychological structure of individuals.
- Prepared a comprehensive list of all possible careers and identified the psychological structures aligned to these careers.
- Designed career planning processes with focus on individual's ultimate career goals, most appropriate and relevant career choices, demarcation of career stages and knowledge, skills and competencies needed at different career stages and effective career planning execution strategies.
